Episode 124: Update on Cirino Gonzalez, Antiwar.com’s Angela Keaton, and Operation Defuse’s Catherine Bleish

In this episode of Voice of Radical Dissent, Donna VanMeter from Irritate the State joined Corey to discuss the problems currently facing her husband, political prisoner Cirino Gonzalez. Then Corey started to talk about Julian Assange’s rape case and the Sweedish government dropping those charges. Dave from New Hampshire called in and asked if libertarians would stand by their stance on no social services if the poor truly suffered, which caught Corey off guard a bit, to which he responded with uncertainty. Angela Keaton dropped by to talk about the war and mosque controversy to top off the first hour. Catherine Bleish joined Corey at the top of the second hour to discuss her activism, specifically her founding of Operation Defuse and The Liberty Restoration Project. James Oliver called in to discuss the history of British social services in response to Dave from New Hampshire’s call. In the last segment, Nick Ford called in to add to the discussion on social services.

Episode 121: Of war and whistles

In this episiode I’m joined by the infamously honorable peace activist Cindy Sheehan in the second hour. But first we got a great call from Kurt Williams at http://www.irrittatethestate.com who lent his analysis of several war related articles. I pulled back the layers of obfuscation, propaganda, and presidential lies in context with recent events as we laid the ground work to cover the massive leak of 90k pages published by the Wikileaks organization. Cindy Sheehan joined us at the top of the second hour for a somewhat controversial interview as we got to hear a little about Cindy’s personal walk in her role as one of the nation’s leading and loudest and most persistent voices against the wars. Cindy reveals deep flaws in the mainstream Left throughout the interview as she and Corey try and nail down what has gone wrong in the antiwar movements. A visit from Hx rounds out the program as he takes some time to respond to some of Sheehans economic and political views which both he and I agree are inconsistent toward what she claims to stand for on certain issues. This show is one you don’t want to miss

Episode 120: The State of Control

In this episode Corey is joined by Donna VanMeter to discuss a variety of issues regarding state issued control schemes. We cover RFID tags in clothing that can be tracked and expose some other control mechanics. Corey briefly covers and article about a Philadelphia cop sentenced to 15 years for a plot to steel over a million dollars in drugs. Joined by several great callers, Denise from Pastcps.org calls in to discuss the horrible state of child stealing in America at the hands of child protective services. Donna does another Political Prisoner Update, this time exposing the abuses being suffered by Cirino Gonzales in being denied mail rights among other abuses. Donna also tells Cirinos story of how he came to be in prison after going to New Hampshire to stand with Ed and Elaine Brown in their tax protest. Corey finishes up the episode with a rundown on the geopolitical situation in Afghanistan.
