Host Corey Moore and friend Kurtis Liston called into Free Talk Live (a nationally syndicated libertarian radio show in over 70 markets) last night to discuss the vague threats and insults that were being hurled at them because of the investigative journalism in Episode 115.  The audio is below

Update: Come to find out that Wayne Root really didn’t know much about what was going on.  I would like to thank Mr. Root for not being overzealous with vague legal threats over a situation legal under libertarian law.  I would encourage all parties to read the books/essays I have posted below to learn a bit about libertarian law and how it relates to charges of defamation and privacy.

The Ethics of Liberty by Murray Rothbard
Note sections I.1, !.3, II.8, II.9, II.13, II.16 (In short, as in the case of the “human right” to free speech, there is no such thing as a right to privacy except the right to protect one’s property from invasion.)

Law, Property Rights, and Air Pollution by Murray Rothbard

Dissolving the Inkblot: Privacy as Property Right by Sheldon Richman
Not too relevant to this exact situation, but it gets into deeper why privacy is a contractual right

Sue for Libel? by Walter Block
