In this episode Corey is joined by Donna VanMeter to discuss a variety of issues regarding state issued control schemes. We cover RFID tags in clothing that can be tracked and expose some other control mechanics. Corey briefly covers and article about a Philadelphia cop sentenced to 15 years for a plot to steel over a million dollars in drugs. Joined by several great callers, Denise from Pastcps.org calls in to discuss the horrible state of child stealing in America at the hands of child protective services. Donna does another Political Prisoner Update, this time exposing the abuses being suffered by Cirino Gonzales in being denied mail rights among other abuses. Donna also tells Cirinos story of how he came to be in prison after going to New Hampshire to stand with Ed and Elaine Brown in their tax protest. Corey finishes up the episode with a rundown on the geopolitical situation in Afghanistan.

Curt comments on the connection between Facebook founders and US intelligence as Corey breaks down the facts on the ground regarding the wider issue of censorship on the web in recent weeks as he covers the sweeping shutdown of Blogitry.com. Curt further comments on the censorship issue as he discusses recent protections being introduced for people that videotape police. The guys then move into being free by living free, discussing the proper roles of diet and making an impact in your personal relationships to inspire others. In this episode of Voice of Radical Dissent, I dived into some of the different aspects of the oppressive state. I started off talking about distractions that are placed in front of us, specifically sports and how LeBron James was used as just another pawn to keep our minds away from whats going on in the world around us. Continuing with the subject, I spoke about General Casey stating the US will be in Iraq and Afghanistan for another 10 years. Donna VanMeter joined me to give out information about the political prisoner of the week, Richard Simkanin. I ended the show with a rant about how disgusting it was Officer Johannes Mehserle only got convicted on involuntary manslaughter for the savage murder of Oscar Grant.

This is the first live broadcast of VoRD, and Hank Xavier joined me to talk about what is going on currently in the liberty movement. We touched on the conservative-”libertarian” campaign of Rand Paul, along with the Campaign for Liberty. Kurtis Liston joined us in the second hour to talk about where he felt the Libertarian Party was going. Hank and I discussed a little bit about agorism and alternatives to voting. Our phone lines were stacked the entire episode, and we had some interesting calls. The sound quality of this episode isn’t the greatest; my sound recording software wasn’t working correctly, so I uploaded the blogtalkradio version of the show.

In this episode of Voice of Radical Dissent, Corey dives into some of the events that happened at the Libertarian Party National Convention 2010 in St. Louis, Missouri. He plays a clip of a discussion he had with Wayne Allyn Root, current At-Large member of the LNC and who was a candidate for LNC Chair that shows how much Mr. Root cares about winning at all costs. In the second segment of the show Corey plays an interview that he had with Mr. Root’s reality show, which happened within 10 minutes of the conversation giving his true views. Then Corey plays a speech Michael Badnarik, 2004 LP Presidential Candidate gave to the delegates speaking on the death of the LP and the further direction of the liberty movement.

In this episode of Voice of Radical Dissent, Corey stated that the show will temporarily be cut in half in preparation to bring the show in a live format. He brought an update about George Donnelly, and explained how people can get involved (links below). Then he got into the two Rand Paul controversies, reemphasizing his dislike of the “Ron Paul Revolution” faction of the liberty movement while speaking out both on Rand’s position on Iran and also his response to the idea of repealing the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Corey then dived into whether or not racism, sexism and homophobia can actually exist in a free society. Finally he discussed about his plans to go to the LP National Convention this weekend and the glaring contradiction of a nonpolitico to be involved with the Libertarian Party.
